Citizenship Works – For Legal Residents Applying for Naturalization (N-400)

“The Immigration Advocates Network created the Citizenshipworks mobile app and the Citizenshipworks website to support the effort and share reliable information from the field. These are free, interactive tools” to learn about the “naturalization process, how to prepare, whether they may qualify, and how to apply. ”

On the Citizenshipworks mobile application, in English, Spanish, Chinese, and Korean:
– The naturalization eligibility requirements, including tools to calculate the language requirements and physical presence;
– A checklist for appointment preparation;
– Interactive study tools for the English and civics tests; and,
– The legal referral directory to find nonprofit naturalization application assistance providers.

To download the free mobile app search for “Citizenshipworks” in the iTunes or Google Play store.

On the Citizenshipworks website, in English, Spanish, and Chinese at
– Educational materials to help prospective applicants understand naturalization law and process;
– An interactive interview to identify problems, refer or connect applicants to legal assistance, or help them fill out the form;
– Information about submitting the application, studying for the tests, preparing for the interview; and the citizenship ceremony;
